These are guidelines that when we look at Your Block, Cylinder heads, Rods, Crankshaft. The Guidelines that we really look for are for damage to any of the items.

All Cores are Subject to Inspection Specific Requirements

Cylinder Heads: Cranks, Warped Beyond .008", Cam Line Bore Damage, Missing Parts.

Block: Cracks, Missing Main Bearing Caps, Spun Cam or Layshaft Bearings, Spun Main Bearings.

Rods: Damage Beyond Repair Limits.

Crankshaft: Damage Requiring Welding, Thrust Bearing Damage. Rod Thrust Surface Damage, Damaged Key Ways, Threads, Bent Shafts, ETC.

Core Damage usually occurs, because of continued operation of the engine or overheating. Damage to the crankshaft and related parts will occur if operation is continued after a knock develops.

All cores will be inspected for damage. Any excessive damage will result in charges against your core refund.
